DM Series - Dungeon Monsters
DM8b - Purple Worm v2
An upgraded version of the OW DM8 Purple Worm sculpted by Richard Scott and Paul Muller, I believe. Making it a more dynamic and scaring monster.
It is cast in resin as a 4-part model, but supplied with a pewter-cast tail stinger piece.
It is 125mm tall in its rearing pose, and a huge 500mm long.

DM18 - Rust Monsters
Rust monsters are creatures of bizarre appearance, with a fondness for snacking on metallic objects of all kinds. Although not a deadly foe, it is widely feared by knights and paladins for its habit of destroying their precious magical weapons and armour.
Unfortunately assembled and painted before I began documenting John's works.
The Rust Monsters were cast in four separate pieces (body, tail and the two antennae).

DM21 - Carcass Scavenger
These were the first miniatures for the Labyrinth Lord game, a pair of Carcass Scavengers. They are hideous giant grubs, armed with a fearsome mouth and 8 tentacles. They each have 16 legs and measures around 50mm in length. They are multi-part model, supplied with 2 shared sprues of 4 pair of legs (numbered), and a shared sprue of tentacles and separate body pieces. The Scavengers were not recommended for inexperienced modellers.

DM22 - Otyugh
An Otyugh is a foul-tempered beast which lives in filthy dungeon middens.
It is cast in metal with a body section, 3 separate legs, 2 arm tentacles and an eyestalk. The model sits well on a round 50mm base.

These model represents Eye tyrants, a horrible, floating monster with a deadly central eye, ten equally dangerous smaller eyestalks and a vicious, tooth-lined maw.
These models were hand-sculpted by John Pickford and all cast in metal.
DM23a - Eye of Terror I
This version has a fearsome scowl and grimacing most, for an angry and aggressive appearance.
It is a multi-part kit which consists of 2 head sections, 2 sprues of eyestalks, 1 arm tentacle sprue and a sprue of body fronds.
Later it was renamed: "DM23a – Eye Tyrant v1".

DM23b - Eye of Terror II
This version has a placid appearance with a friendly smile!
It is a multi-part kit which consists of 2 head sections, 2 sprues of eyestalks, 1 arm tentacle sprue and a sprue of body fronds.
Later it was renamed: "DM23a – Eye Tyrant v2"
DM23c - Eye of the Deep
This is an upgrade kit for DM23a or DM23b turning one into a Sea Monster. 2 eyestalks and 2 claws.
DM26 - Aspis
An Aspis is a strange and deadly creature, part weevil, part humanoid. It has 4 arms, which it uses to wield multiple weapons and shields to deadly effect.
These to are sculpted by John. Later, these Aspis' here was replaced by new sculpts by Paul Muller - labelled DM27a and B Aspis Drone I and II.

DM33 - Xorn
A Xorn is a strange 3 eyed, armed, legged creature from the elemental plane of earth, with a fondness for snacking on precious metals and gems, just the right encounter for relieving adventurers of their hard-won loot!
It is a multi-piece casting (7 parts). It stands at 30mm tall to the top of its head and is cast in pewter. The Xorn sits well with a 40mm plastic base.
