This second set is converted miniatures from set #1 and are armed with a mix of two-handed weapons, pole weapons and dual hand weapons. 

It used parts form the initial greens but it also has specific new greens and conversions made to fill out the set.

Core Warriors with Crossbows

Before this project really took off I'd asked John to do me an alternative "prober chaotic" Crossbow for my collection of 3rd edition Citadel Chaos Dwarf Crossbowmen. These were sculpted by "the Perry-twins" and are still a favourite of mine. Only bad thing about them really are, that they came with awful black plastic crossbows. Therefore, I commissioned John doing me an alternative for them. This was done so early in the process and therefore not very well documented, unfortunately. However, this prototype Crossbow became basis for my own "Ewal Dvergar with crossbows"-line, late on.

Crossbowmen - 3 different bodies, 3 converted bows and 6 Sallets.

2 x 3 bodies, 2 x 4 crossbows (the prototype and 3 new converted ones), 8 sallets - 8 Sallets (the 6 new greens and then two converted ones (shaved heads from EDC-01 and EDC-02)).

Core Warriors with Guns

These gunners are based on the Crossbowmen and converted carrying guns.

The gun itself is a prototype gun John did when doing the Crossbowmen and mastered so it could be added to the new gunmen. The "stand-alone gun" was also added as an extra bit to the final mould as well.

Apparently I didn't photo documented the green gun! - but this here is the prototype gun used on these:

3 reworked crossbowmen bodies where done for this set. Another 12 new helmets where made. These was split in two moulds. 8 for this primary set - and then an extra set of 4 (see add-on section down below).

Add-on for the warriors

Beveled shields

Later in the "production" process, an alternative beveled shield from the initial greens was cast in small sprues of 4. The shields are mainly useable with the EDC-01 Warriors.

Mainly to be used with body ED8, but with som conversion skills, it could be added to most warriors.

A set of 4 sallet-styled helmets that will fit most warriors with Crossbows and with Guns. These were sculpted with the gunners and these "greens" here where also shown in the Core warriors with guns, too.
