In 2018 Crooked Dice Game Design Studio took over a few of the Otherworld Miniatures figures and made some of them available through a Kickstarter in October 2018. The Ants came as they were but the Ogre Captain had a major make-over, making him suitable for their 7TV:Apocalypse. The conversion was made by Ernst Veingart.

In 2018 they also picked up Jon Boyce's Colony 87 range that already included a few sculpts by John, but in their 3th wave Kickstarter a pair of children (Karlston and Ludo), also sculpted by John, were added to the range.

In April 2020 the Otherworld Giant became available in a resin version. The giant was meant for a Salute 2020 release, but due to Covid19 Salute 2020 was postponed.

Not Salute Poster

Early 2021 most of the shifted Otherworld Miniatures fantasy range became available at Crooked Dice. This was made possible due to a successful Kickstarter Campaign called: "Time of the Orcs!". The Kickstarter ran in October 2020. As the title reveals the main focus of this campaign was to release a brand new range of Orcs designed with the creative geniuses of Dave Needham (Zhu Industries) and sculpted by John Pickford. The campaign also included a re-release of John's Otherworld Goblins and Ogres.

Atomic Horrors

The 5 pewter Ants were previously sold by Otherworld Miniatures as "DV6a Giant Worker" and "DVdb Warrior Ants".

Released as part of a Kickstarter. In the Kickstarter they were offered in a set of 6, with a larger Ant added (Queen Ant). The Queen was not an OW miniature nor was it sculpted by John.

At general release, the Ants can be found in two packs "Worker ants" (3) and "Soldier Ants" (2) in the "Miniatures - Horror"-section. And are labelled DEAL 179 and DEAL 180.
